I Thought it Was a Flashlight, But I Was Wrong - Trial and Error
At the start of day 3 I walked into the classroom much earlier than I usually do and got to work trying to figure out the mistake I was stuck on since yesterday. When I was 3D modeling my whiskey bottle I had some mistake connecting points, I tried to fix it but with no luck I waited a few minutes until everyone was in class and class actually started to ask for help. After a while of trial and error we eventually figured out a sophisticated solution which I still do not fully understand, but what matters is that it was fixed.
For pretty much the entire day, everyone worked on following the tutorials and making the 3D models or making their own creation. One creation that one of my friends was making from scratch which interested me, was a replica of their water bottle. They spent almost the entire day working on it and I thought it turned out pretty well. Anyway, after finishing my whiskey bottle, most people and I worked on creating a hex nut in Fusion 360. While doing it I learned a few tricks and when it was done, one of my classmates made a bolt that would be able to screw into the hex nut. Using a bit of trial and error (The first version of the bolt was too big) it was complete and fully functional.
After working on the hex nut I quickly did the next tutorial and made an ice cube holder, then I started the hardest one of the day. This "hardest one" was the flashlight model (Its actually a handlebar grip but it looks a lot more like a flashlight so I call it a flashlight). This was the hardest model to me because for some reason I just ran into a bunch of small very avoidable problems, but I wanted it to be perfect so I spent quite a bit longer on it. Lastly, I finished the day creating a door stopper model pretty quickly from the video and 3D printing it right as class ended. Sadly I had to print it pretty small so it would go faster, so it's not quite heavy or big enough to hold a door. Overall, this day has showed me how much I have actually learned in just 2-3 days and how much I am able to make with that knowledge.
