Day 4: making progress (Mads)

In 3d modeling and printing class today, I spent the class working on my ice cube tray, which was fun but has some hurdles. While making it, I had some difficulties with duplicating the dents where the ice is supposed to go and eventually got annoyed and stopped following the instructions, and I ended up making one side longer than the other. I tried to fillet the longer side to make them even, but it didn't really work, I think it works as a handle though. Mr. Grisbee gave me the idea to make actual ice cubes, so i put water in it and put my mini ice tray in the freezer which I was excited with.

While I waited on that, I spent the remainder of class working on the nut bolt. This personally, was the hardest/most irritating one. I was having trouble figuring out the dimensions of this, so I just saved it for tomorrow and worked on something else. This class was nice I'd say, I definitely feel more comfortable going off script and not needing to follow the instruction videos to a T, and I definitely feel like I made progress today.
