Day 6: Back after break! (Mads)

Today in 3d modeling and printing class, I started working on a painter's tripod, which I really wasn't sure what it was but figured I make it anyways. It was actually one of the easier 3d models I've made in this class. And while making the model was easy, the issue this time was exporting and printing. While trying to export my model, I was annoyed to find that my wifi apparently wasn't strong enough. When I went to Mr. Grisbee again to get help me (again), Mr. Grisbee couldn't figure out what the issue was, but quickly we just figured out that fusion 360 was just down and there wasn't much we could do other than wait.

My next issue was printing, because when I eventually figured out how to export, printing was a bit of an issue. To my relief, I got over the hurdle of figuring out how to translate files into UnltiMaker faster than my previous attempts. But when printing, I forgot to add supports, and that caused the top of the holes to slant a bit which frankly I didn't really care much for, because all in all, it turned out pretty good. Afterward, I spent the rest of the class working on a 3d model of a screwdriver, and figuring out what I wanted to do for my final project.
