Today was our third day of 3d printing and modeling. We started the day troubleshooting each other's problems, and most of them were solved! Afterward, we turned to tutorials and learned how to create nuts and bolts. Everest and I together created the bolt and nut, trying to be able to connect them. Though after much trial and error, we still couldn't get the sweet spot. Even though we couldn't make the nuts and bolts fit together, we learned a lot and had a bunch of fun tinkering around trying to make it work.
In the afternoon, I started another tutorial about how to make a door-stopper. Luckily because of what I have learned in the previous days it was pretty easy and I finished it quickly. My favorite part of the day was when I started to work on my main project, a castle. After 2 days of mulling it over I have decided I would like to create a recreation of a medical castle. Today I started work on the keep, is basically a fortified tower inside the caste walls where either the nobility or royalty stay. I had so much fun today and am looking forward to learning more about modeling and medival castles.
